The Pastor’s Study – Spring/Summer 2026 (Vol. 6.2-3)

We have been late getting out the second and third issues of the 2026 Pastor’s Study. Our WhatsApp groups have grown, and we now translate into 22 languages in 19 African countries. We have also been working to make our magazine not just something you can read and relax with, but a teaching tool.

The main articles will continue to centre on a single theme, and the teaching modules designed alongside them will be available on our resource website, krapfproject.org. While we will continue to include history and pastoral theology, we also want to make the magazine useful as a teaching tool for pastors, fraternities and small groups.

This combined issue (Vol. 6, Nos. 2–3) will focus on the theme of sin and suffering, and how we as Christians should understand suffering and navigate the frustrations of this present evil world. We also have a history article, part one, on the life of Lott Cary, the first African American missionary to Africa in 1822. We’re also thankful to have an article from a first-time writer, an accountant from Western Kenya, on the Christian’s attitude to debt.

We pray that this issue of the magazine will bless pastors across Africa, for the development of healthy churches and the glory of God.
