In Wrath Remember Mercy

In this article, Rev. Elshout comments on Habakkuk 1:4 “Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.” (KJV).

Habakkuk’s prayer was, a prayer prompted by God’s speech, a prayer for a revival of God’s work, and a prayer for God’s mercy in the midst of judgment.
